this BS12 Twellv Satellite Channel announced Wednesday that it is making a film version of its 2024 documentary Hadaashi no gen no NetSudendō ~ Genbaku comics O Tsutaeru Hitobito ~ This will be open in Tokyo’s pole theater, Hiroshima’s Salon Cinema and other theaters in November. The title of this movie is Hadaashi no gen wa mada okotteiru ((Barefoot gen Still angry). Seitoku Iriyama is directing, planning and editing the film.

Nakazawa is a world-renowned creator Barefoot gen Manga about Hiroshima atomic bombing and consequences. Nakazawa was born in Hiroshima in 1939. At the age of 6, he survived the Hiroshima bombing in 1945 and lost most of his immediate family members – his father, sister, younger brother and sister. Only him, his mother and two brothers who were not at home survived.
