Nice to meet you. Can you provide an introduction and how to make music by yourself?
Tsumiki: I am the composer Tsumiki, and it was originally the music I created on Vocaloid technology, and that’s the way I went J-Pop. We decided to make music together, this is Nolemon Nome Lifelike.
Mikimaria: I am the singer Mikimaria. I started out as a singer and songwriter and a solo performer. I’ll upload the cover song I’ll be putting on social media, and that’s where Tsumiki finds me and reaches out and says, “Hey, maybe we can do something together.” So we formed a unit.
What’s wrong Nolemon Nome Form, how do you choose the name of the band’s respiratory tract?
Tsumiki: When I was still a Vocaloid producer, I made an album and after I released it, I thought the next step was J-Pop And explore different music genres. I know I need to form a unit, which means I need a singer. I asked around and did some searches and eventually brought me to Mikimaria where we formed our unit.
As far as our names are concerned, I really like Japanese phrases whether you read them from above or below. On this candidate list is Nolemon Nome. In essence, it does not have a profound meaning, but that’s why I chose this name.
This year is Nolemon NomeThe fourth anniversary of its establishment. How did your music production and lyrical development process change?
Tsumiki: For us, one of our goals when we built this unit was to make the genre of music we wanted to make now and even at that moment. Absolutely do this without a strong push. That hasn’t changed over the years, so if you feel anything changes, it’s not intentional.
What are your goals now and in the future?
Mikimaria: At the moment, I really have no obvious goal. I think even if it is an opportunity, there is a chance to perform for people outside of Japan and let more fans know us. I’m really happy to be able to do what we do on the international stage.
Are there any plans to tour the United States?
Mikimaria: There are no plans at the moment, but we are happy.
Tsumiki: Yes, we will.
Turn Gundam gquuuuuuxhave you caught up with these plots? Who is your favorite character?
Mikimaria: We both have seen all the plots so far and my favorite character is Machubi.
Tsumiki: It’s hard to narrow it down to one. Considering the whole series, I would like to say that the whole process and creation from script to character design is excellent. This is one of the few anime I like overall.
What it means to be a part of you Gundam Franchise?

Tsumiki: As far as I’m concerned, my father was the first one of those generations to watch Gundam Live broadcast. Most importantly, seeing my father was so happy, it brought me a lot of joy.
Mikimaria: join in Gundam FranchiseI can feel like I am the same unit as us, upgrade. We have overcome many new experiences and as I mentioned before, we are able to cross boundaries and spread around the world, and I am very grateful.
Do you provide any context or animation material for the music you create? Gundam gquuuuuux? Or do you only tell the general situation?
Tsumiki: When we write, we get different materials, such as characters and the background of the script. This is an ongoing work, so it is usually only to any episode that was completed at that time. We start writing, and in the process we will get other material or scripts throughout the process. We record it, observe it, and read it. It’s really cool to see it being animated because how you read it and actually see the end product is completely different.
Is it difficult to integrate story elements? Gundam gquuuuuux Since this is a complicated story?
Tsumiki: This is very difficult! (laugh)
The lyrics are Gundam gquuuuuux Just like “Midnight Reflection”, “Haven” and “The Rest of Life” also reflect the character’s feelings. Have you been told what roles are involved or have you just given a general overview of the situation?

Tsumiki: When I composed the song, I didn’t think about the song or played it in a certain scene, but instead tried to absorb the entire spirit or story of the project as a whole. Then, I wrote based on that. I struggle to capture deeper meanings that can be applied or used in any scenario throughout the series.
Even songs Nolemon Nome It is not framed around any particular character, but is played when it is on screen. For example, “Halo” from MACHU or “Autherimage” from Nyaan. Do you think they were designed for the feelings of the characters? Specifically, how does Machubi feel about Shuji’s “halo” and Nyaan?
Tsumiki: I knew before that I said I tried to think about the series or project as a whole, but of course, I had to have something to grab. Whenever I write, I have an image inside me. I don’t want to be exclusively dedicated to this scene or this moment, so I think about how to use the lyrics’ sentences and phrases. I want it to be more versatile so when the audience consumes, they can connect with the lyrics and feel the lyrics. I’m trying to be very aware of how to put these phrases in this regard. I try to step back, but whenever I write lyrics, some themes and images still come to mind.

For Mikimaria, do you sing in a way that you think is suitable for the character?
Mikimaria: As far as I am concerned, I don’t necessarily change the way I sing. I get the emotions and feelings from reading the script and all the music applied to the series and bring it the proper emotions. I would say that when I sing a specific song for the character, a specific image I didn’t think of.
You provide the song “From the Aquarium City”. composer Yoshimasa Terui Are you particularly asked to make a sound for this song? Do you know if he thinks you are because your hair is similar to hers and your height happens to be the same?
Mikimaria: (laugh) I don’t think Terui-san really does for this reason because he thinks I look like Machu. I like to believe that I have the role due to my singing ability, but there are similarities. Viewers of the series also point this out. That being said, I would say in personality that Machubi and I are not exactly the same. However, with the outline and hairstyle, I can see the similarities. Maybe that’s why I’ve attracted Machubi as my favorite character.
