Sword of the Demon Hunter Episodes 1-13 Anime Series Review – Review

We’re halfway Demon Hunter’s Swordthere are twoCOUR The series will resume on July 15 and the overall assessment is still tricky. As the fun universal champion suggests, it is a supernatural drama, mainly in Edo in the 1850s (an imminent city of Tokyo), and features a young swordsman who often lowers the oversized demons that bothered that night.

Even a bit misleading. The best part of the series is its film opening episode, fifty minutes long, located in a forest iron factory village, with color Princess Mononoke. On the other hand, if they gave up on the gory, stupid demonic demons and focused on being a life-and-supernatural Edo anime, they would never reach the Edo plot of their predecessors much better Miss Hawkesey or We rent tsukumogami.

The show’s demon killer is Jinya (he called Jinta in the first episode but ended up getting a name change). He is one of many anime heroes who kill monsters while covering up the demonic nature. He also consumed the stories of the two people he loved, the two sisters, who ended in blood and horror. Just in the first episode, it’s worth a try. Even on a small screen, it is exquisite. For example, a scene of two lovers on a river bank, when they are tenderly resolved, hanging flowers swaying above them no Together. Later, there is a bloody murder full of obscene beauties, more memorable than the super hills of historical anime Immortal blade or Shigurui: Death Madness.

Slight spoilers – Episode 1 ends with Jinta/Jinya will still appear in the twenty-first century, thanks to his demonic nature. However, most of the rest of the series takes place a few years after episode 1, and Jinya is now known as Edo, killing the paid demon. He meets several characters that become regulars in the series, including a friendly ramen restaurant owner and his friendly daughter Ofu, his strange perception of the default swordsman. Other neighbors include a Tsundere-style aristocratic girl like Jinya helped, and a wise gender worker with platonic rapport and business relationships with young people.

And then there’s the demon,…oh dear. Episode 4 has a bad demon battle with lots of viewers laughing in court without compelling action or scale and cheesy monster design. Tokusatsu Bankruptcy. Even in COURThe climax arc, the devil fight looks just as stupid, now accompanied by a ridiculous story that reveals belonging to the comedy. The later supernatural battles were mostly dull, although there were several intense ghoul moments that were more pitiful than fear. The period traps in non-action scenes are pleasant, but have no aesthetic or lively debuts.

Given that the series’ name effectively sells monsters and actions and is passionate in episode 1, it’s easy to write off Demon Hunter’s Sword fail. But if you think of anime as a period of life, then anime is even more enjoyable. It’s talking, but intimate relationship with a good story, and its conversations are often fascinating. Multiple plots seem to be meaninglessly standing out, just being tied up by a really interesting twist – the old variant is especially good Urashima Taro Japanese storyunexpected results.

Yes, there may be more in the series. A plot is composed of a dramatic drama, cutting back and forth between the “real” events and the stage drama based on them, but the actual story is so small that it reduces the frame to the gi head. Another episode gives Jinya a curious painting and his foster father’s past – it possible Take the big story on demand, but this episode is so low-key that no one will remember it, even if it does pay off.

Then, in the middle of a nation’s turbulent history, anime about non-age characters has potential. Why not do this Lynn – Mnemosyne’s daughter And the plot regularly skips five, ten, twenty years, showing the characters aging in the aging of the Japanese king era, and does Japan change the disaster in the way we know it? That would be an “epic” theme, but so far everything we have will be quoted Black ship Those annoying Americans.

Given that we’ve seen Jinya in the twenty-first century and when the first ends, it’s hard to be very interested in where the story goes COUR It seems that he has already rested for one of his main demons. One of his relationships looks like it has been destroyed and there may be a follow-up, but the show is far from its compelling start. However Demon Hunter’s Sword Still feeling like a pleasant time, it was an unfortunate person because of their poor moves and poor choice of titles.
