Episode 12 – To Be Hero X

How will you rate it Episode 12 of
Become a hero x ? Community Score: 4.4

While this is the second episode centered on the Queen, it’s not about the Queen. Of course, she is the point-of-view character and we can see her emotional struggles as she doesn’t catch the title of X, the amazing battle with Bowa and the awareness of her soul challenge, and she missed her chance to shoot again on Hero X. But when it comes to that, this episode is more about Bowa than Queen.

Bowa is a hero who builds himself through his own actions. She could have been a bonus rich man, but she puts her skills in supporting the hero and then makes herself a self. Even as the top ten heroes, she worked hard to gain recognition, and she was not able to make it to the first place until the queen grasped the imagination of the people. But, for her, even her own managers to the average population, it was obvious that she was the Queen’s placeholder, not anything else. So Bowa is determined to prove everyone wrong by defeating the Queen in the game, and then she never has a chance again.

Interestingly, she is responsible for losing her highest position. She blames Queen and Cyan and Queen’s journalist father on Queen and Cyan. She focused all her anger on them-by defeating the Queen, knocking them down. She promised her resentment for the past two years and stood out in the process. But there is a person she doesn’t blame-a person she rarely mentions. It’s that person, he is the highest hero of Hero X himself.

If you see it as in ostensible value, it seems Bowa does believe that neither she nor Queen will lose to HeroX if it weren’t for Cyan’s power of luck. But when you think about it a little more, you remember something: Bowa’s new power is based on fear. So, she was so worried that despite the much lower value of trust, she was still equal to the power of the second hero? This is the basic fear that all of us struggle with: we are simply not good enough.

Bowa focuses on the queen because she thinks she can beat the young girls. She deceived herself, believing that Hero X’s victory was caused by cheating, because if so, she beat the Queen, then she was “good enough” – she deserves to be a top hero. But deep down at her core, she knows the truth, and it is the flame of fear that the truth keeps fans of her body. Hero X is everywhere, defeating her and the Queen in one attack, she has no chance. Now, she just protects her pride by removing Hero X from the psychological equation, because she simply can’t imagine defeating him.

Is this the worst part of all these? Bowa is not wrong about being abused. If she had the support of the Queen, no one would have considered her as a placeholder. Her spiritual perseverance is so amazing that not only does she climb from an average person to a hero herself, but unlike other fear-based villains we have seen so far, she controls power, not the other way around. She never turned into a monster like Lin Lin’s boss or orphanage owner. Instead, her attacks were smart and thoughtful. Her frequency exceeded her and she thought more and more about the Queen. Although fear affects her mind, ultimately, she can realize the reality of her situation-that is, even if she defeats the Queen, she will never be able to get the title of X, rather than give up and fight for death.

If all of this isn’t enough, then this episode also provides us with an important world building. The struggle we get here is a battle between people fighting for top heroes in a world without Hero X. This battle is far beyond what we’ve seen so far. The battle between Lin Ling and Cyan doesn’t hold this candle, even compared to the battle between E-Souls. It’s that kind of primitive power Lin Ling, e-soul and cyan have to overcome the title of X, and frankly all seem hopelessly matched. Then there is a simple fact that there is a man who can stab the Queen and Boa with his fingers. It’s hard to believe that anyone we’ve seen so far has the chance to take the title from him.

Random thought:

•I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that the DOS President and the Queen’s father deliberately built the entire BOWA situation to understand which is stronger, trust or fear.

•DOS data files on X are interesting. Honestly, he wasn’t frustrated with Uncle Rock, it was great news – he hit the wreck at least once. He is suspected of working with the rebellious hero Nine (I don’t think we’ve heard of it before) and has a connection with an unknown woman who is superman in all her statistics and whose power is named “Multiple”.

•I feel the cliffs of this episode are only effective if you watch things outside of the actual anime, i.e., if you know what the wild beast in the last shot is and what it means to Cyan and Queen on a personal level.

•So, I think the Queen ranked 10th after her second game after the second game because she was confiscated due to injury. This means that over the past two years (until Lin’s time), she can return to second place through superheroes alone. Touching.
