Episode 22 – Go! Go! Loser Ranger! Season 2

Do you remember last week when I said Fighter D started feeling like a bystander on his own show? I don’t know how correct I am because this week our boys didn’t show up a frame. He just left. po. The absent protagonist. Instead, “Special Bonds ~ Hibiki and Sesera ~” gave us a long-term check-in, with one of the characters starting from Season 1 and the result was…well…what they certainly were. Yes, indeed.

Let’s start with positive Go, go, loser ranger! Strengthen the honor of the game in animation. I’ve been very critical of how hard the show is to make production value since the season lost in episode 7, but we have some animations here that look good. One of them is even pretty good! As far as spectacle is concerned, there isn’t much writing in the first two “segments” of this Three-Wing story I’m talking about, but it’s far from scary. Hibiki and Sesera became the last part of the center stage to try to impress with their smooth orchestration and influential use of visceral violence. Frankly, this is the first time I’ve been excited about action scenes throughout the season, and the animator’s achievement is not a trivial matter.

Unfortunately, for the same work that Hibiki & Sesera clips do in the visual department, the story doesn’t work. First, it doesn’t have enough time to breathe, as the episode also takes a lot of time to draw us into the whole deal with the new Blue Ranger, and the candid pointless transfer to fight Noma Taiatia. Again, these sequences may be sequences that should serve as the climax of their own plot, but they ultimately return Hibiki’s huge return to the story.

OK, “Grand” is overselling a lot, but I don’t think expecting it’s crazy Loser Ranger Do something With this character, consider how long it took him to lurk on the edge of the narrative. I don’t know how it works in the comics, although I have to imagine it works better Loser Ranger The anime tries to do this week. This is a complete summary of Hibiki’s entire storyline as he handed over his identity to Ranger D until and included this episode: First, he spent a whole season and a half, just watching his cape at the organization’s XIII-XIII-XIII. Then, after all these efforts in the show, heralding that some of Hibiki’s characters began to bear fruit once his pursuit of justice began to take hold, and he unceremoniously kidnapped and imprisoned the Monster Conservation Society. After weeks of completion, Fighter XX believes it is suitable to let Hibiki convince him for some reason that it will be totally useless to solve any chaos that humans find themselves trapped in. Finally, although he had no idea that he had no ability and had no useful ability to kill his sister, he had encountered anything useful among sisters and had met one among sisters and stood out among sisters.

I was serious: it was one hundredth of his fault that she was “dead”. The girl turned out to have an incredibly overwhelming regeneration ability that allowed her to even survive. This climax of the Hibiki story is a very stupid and sudden development, and I paused for a few minutes because I couldn’t stop laughing.

Of course, my angry laughter was only played in the show trying to image the serious anime drama and made Hibiki scream that he would kill Hwalipon and avenge his sister. I don’t know what Sillier is: the fact that Hibiki might be consumed by anger in the most shocking self-fury he’s ever seen in a long time, or Hwalipon died just after being properly a major villain in a possible two-half episode. Maybe he will be back next week! Unfortunately, it is difficult to care about either of these aspects at this time.
