Korean streaming platform Wavve announced on Thursday S-linereal person adapt Author kkomabi’s network channel. The series is scheduled to be released in July.
Original network channel S-line Explore a provocative premise: a mysterious red line (visible only to some people), connected to people with sexual relations. As the red line begins to appear, a series of shocking events unfold.
Soo-hyuk Lee plays Ji-Wook Han, a detective who pursues the truth behind the “S-line”. Da-hee Lee plays the quirky high school teacher Gyu-Jin. Arin, a member of the girls’ group Oh, my girlplays the role of Hyeon-Heup, a student who can see the red line since birth.
S-line won Best Music Award at the 8th Cannes International Festival held on April 29. Composer Jun-Oh Lee is recognized in the long-term competition category for his work in the series’ soundtrack.
The internationally released platform has not been confirmed yet. The English version of webtoon is not available. Kkomabi is most famous outside of Korea Netflix series Killer Paradox.
