The play stars Taketo Oyasu as Nekoryu, a dragon raised by cats.

Jin-Koo Oh (Tonbo!) is directing the anime at OLM. Mitsutaka Hirota (“Eden Zero”) is in charge of series composition. Rie Nishino and Chiaki Kura are designing the characters. Takahiro Obata (The Promised Neverland) is composing the music. Noriyoshi Onuma (“The Danger in Me”) serves as sound director.
Amara debuted as an online novel in September 2013 in “Shōsetsuka ni Narō”. Takarashimasha published the first hardcover light novel illustrated by Mai Okuma in April 2016. The eighth volume of the light novel will be released on April 12. Sales exceeded 1 million copies.
Izumi Sasaki releases the manga adaptation “Kono Manga ga Sugoi”! It began serialization on the Internet in September 2017 and on Manga Box in April 2020. The 11th volume will be shipped in Japan on May 31st.
